Description
Slumbering Woods is a cosy mushroom-planting exploration adventure. After a violent storm separates you from your travelling companions, you wake up in a remote village overgrown with mushrooms. To continue your search, you must help the villagers rebuild, as their knowledge, tools, and trust are the only way to reach new areas and uncover clues about your missing companions.
The core of the game is planting as puzzle-solving. You grow mushrooms that spread across the land and change it. Each plant reacts to its surroundings. Some open new paths, others block areas or create safe routes. Where you plant matters. The forest becomes a system you shape and experiment with.
Exploration drives your progress. You search new areas, uncover hidden spots, and find tools, ingredients, and old recipes. Crafting and cooking support your journey and unlock further possibilities.
The story unfolds through conversations with the locals. By helping them restore buildings and community ties, you gain new skills and access to new locations.
